Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years software engineering with 2+ years producing AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on with large language models and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript and ML libraries (Hugging Face, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs for AI/ML outputs.
• Understanding of RAG pipelines and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Experience with LLM and agent evals, including testing model outputs.
• HIPAA awareness and secure handling of PHI.
• Autonomy and judgment in greenfield environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Pi Agent, Cursor, Codex).

Responsibilities

• System Development: Build and maintain LLM-powered features in clinical settings.
• Model Evaluation: Implement evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, and reliability.
• Backend Service Development: Build Python or Typescript backends exposing AI via REST/GraphQL/WebSockets.
• Infrastructure and MLOps: Contribute to AI infra design and deployment tooling.
• HIPAA-Compliant Development: Ensure HIPAA standards and PHI handling.
• Technical Collaboration: Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
