Job summary

Sandisk seeks a System Architect focused on advanced memory technology and AI inference infrastructure. You will define system-level solutions, optimize compute memory bottlenecks, bandwidth and latency, and map workloads to hardware while co-designing with software teams.

Essential duties include architecture design, performance/power modeling, workload analysis, and technical leadership across design teams. Masters/PhD and 10+ years required.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree required with focus on memory systems or SoC design.
  • Experience in mapping workloads to hardware and co-design concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of memory technologies (DRAM, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, NAND).

Responsibilities

  • Lead system-level architecture co-optimised with software teams.
  • Develop performance/power models for memory subsystems.
  • Map AI/ML workloads to hardware requirements and interconnects.
  • Collaborate across hardware/software to ensure integration and scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership and produce clear documentation.
