Job summary

Salesforce AI Labs is seeking a senior individual-contributor to join its portfolio as a hands-on software engineer, AI practitioner, and storyteller. You will connect products, models, and data into demonstrable solutions and present value to customers and executives.

You will move from customer problems to code, deliver live demonstrations, and design reusable assets and playbooks that scale with the team, adopting rapid experimentation to explore new agentic experiences and architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience building customer-facing software or technical prototypes that solve business problems.
• Strong coding skills across Python and TypeScript/JavaScript with demonstrable interfaces.
• Fluency with modern API architectures including authentication, webhooks, and data contracts.
• Experience with models/tools from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, plus open-source agents.
• Ability to turn complex technical work into compelling demonstrations and business narratives.

Responsibilities

• Build connected solutions with prototypes, API integrations, and agent workflows across products and systems.
• Identify use cases by collaborating with customers, portfolio leaders, and GTM teams.
• Create reliable demonstrations that map customer needs to system actions and outcomes.
• Tell the story to executives, customers, developers, and sales teams with appropriate depth.
• Explore new agentic experiences and architectures through rapid experimentation.
• Package reference architectures and demo environments for reuse by other teams.
• Measure value by baselining and evaluating time-to-value, cost-to-serve, and customer experience.
