Job summary

F5 is seeking a Sr. AI Solutions Engineer to join the Financial Data Analytics team in Seattle. You will transform AI prototypes into secure, reliable applications and own technical design across the lifecycle.

This hands-on role requires strong Python/SQL, experience with LLMs, API integrations, and secure AI practices. You will collaborate with Finance and Digital teams to enable AI at scale and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with ownership of production apps from design to deployment.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications using retrieval-augmented generation and controlled multi-step workflows.
• Experience integrating enterprise APIs and data sources with authentication, retries, and failure recovery.
• Practical software/AI testing, Git, deployment pipelines, environment management, monitoring, and release procedures.
• Understanding secure AI design, sensitive-data handling, least privilege, and human oversight.
• Ability to resolve ambiguous technical problems and communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI applications spanning knowledge assistance, document processing, financial analysis, and workflow automation.
• Assess prototypes and develop maintainable applications with usable interfaces and enterprise integrations.
• Build reliable connections to enterprise data sources with secure access and controlled knowledge updates.
• Establish automated testing and AI evaluations covering grounding, accuracy, and business scenarios.
• Implement secure deployment, access controls, audit logging, monitoring, and cost management.
• Translate stakeholder needs into requirements, architecture, and acceptance criteria; select AI or automation approaches.
• Create reusable components, documentation, and runbooks; review vendor deliverables and support knowledge transfer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
