Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to accelerate adoption of its Developer Platform among startups and cloud-native teams. You will join the Pre-Sales SE org, guiding technical discovery, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept builds with developers and CTOs.

You’ll work closely with the sales team from discovery through closure, map customer initiatives to Cloudflare’s platform (Workers, KV, R2, AI tools), and evangelize how our solutions unlock faster shipping and secure

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Solutions Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role.
Builder mindset with curiosity and problem-solving in fast-moving environments.
Strong ability to communicate with developers and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery within the cloud-developer vertical, uncovering customer needs and fit.
Engage early in the sales cycle, join discovery calls, and embed in customer Slack channels.
Identify and map customer initiatives to the Cloudflare platform (Workers, KV, R2, etc.).
Build relationships with customer champions from engineers to CTOs.
Develop and present tailored technical content and demos for hands-on developers and senior leaders.
Lead demos and proofs-of-concept / build activities for prospects and customers.
Evangelize the Cloudflare Developer Platform and encourage building on Cloudflare, not just using it for storage or CDN.
Create reference architectures, demos, blog posts, and knowledge-sharing content.
Represent Cloudflare at developer events and thought-leadership activities.
