Job summary

Amentum is seeking an AI Solutions Architect — Programs & Delivery to own JANUS, the COE's portfolio system of record, and to drive pilot and lighthouse delivery while coordinating between business demand and technical architecture.

The role requires US citizenship, a hybrid work arrangement with the Reston, VA office, and collaboration across governance, legal, and finance teams to keep programs on schedule and aligned with Azure cloud patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in AI/data program architecture or enterprise solution delivery
• Experience operating enterprise AI intake/portfolio systems
• Working knowledge of AI/ML solution architecture and data pipelines
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day JANUS COE intake, triage, prioritization, and lifecycle tracking
• Translate business problems into AI solution architectures and reusable patterns
• Collaborate with GenAI integration, deployment, and hand-off
• Coordinate lighthouse charter execution and surface blockers to leadership
• Maintain COE decision log and monthly Council package readiness
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers during platform buildout
• Align AI work with two-cloud posture (Azure Commercial for COE, Azure Government for customers)
