Job summary

Amentum seeks an AI Solutions Architect — Programs & Delivery to lead JANUS operations and bridge business demand with AI architectures across COE and operating-group spokes. Hybrid role based in the US, with citizenship required.

Role requires 5+ years in AI/data program architecture, strong cross-functional coordination, and cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable). Compensation details follow in posting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI / data program architecture or enterprise solution delivery with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
• Experience operating an enterprise AI intake/portfolio system.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML solution architecture, data pipelines, and platform components.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Own JANUS operation for COE intake, triage, prioritization, and lifecycle tracking of AI use cases.
• Translate business problems into technical AI solution architectures, identifying reusable patterns across AI Pilots.
• Support integration and deployment of GenAI capabilities into mission and enterprise workflows.
• Coordinate lighthouse charter execution and surface blockers to leadership.
• Maintain the COE decision log and Council package readiness on a monthly cadence.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers during platform buildout and ensure transitions to internal owners.
• Maintain alignment between AI work and two-cloud posture (Azure Commercial for COE, Azure Government for customer programs).
