Job summary

Amentum is seeking an AI Solutions Architect — Programs & Delivery to own JANUS, the COE's portfolio system of record, and to drive lighthouse delivery across AI pilots. The role bridges business demand, technical architecture, and governance to ensure AI initiatives are documented, planned, and delivered.

The position is hybrid with the Reston, VA office and US citizenship is required. You will coordinate with AI Governance, Cyber, CIO/EA, Legal, Export Control, Finance and Procurement to

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in AI/data program architecture or enterprise delivery.
• Experience operating an enterprise intake/portfolio system for AI initiatives.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML solution architecture and data pipelines.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of JANUS for COE intake and lifecycle tracking of AI use cases.
• Translate business problems into technical AI solution architectures and patterns.
• Coordinate with lighthouse charter execution and surface blockers to leadership.
• Maintain COE decision log and monthly council package readiness.
• Collaborate with vendor engineers and ensure reusable patterns are documented.
