Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an experienced Senior-Level AI Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and design of innovative AI solutions and data products across the enterprise. This role focuses on Databricks-based use cases, robust MLOps/LLMOps strategies, and collaboration with security and governance teams to ensure compliant AI implementations.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in AI technologies and 8+ years in corporate IT architecture, with hands-on PoCs and cloud platform

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with AI technologies including ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and/or LLMs.
At least 8 years in a corporate IT role with architecture, analysis, and design.
Hands-on PoCs to validate architecture patterns and solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner with EA, Data Scientists, and Engineering to architect and launch AI use cases on Databricks.
Design and scale ML/LLMOps workflows and deployments.
Create reference architectures, roadmaps, standards for AI/ML.
Mentor engineering teams on scalable AI solutions and data pipelines.
Collaborate with Security, Risk, and Data Governance for compliant AI implementation.
Stay ahead of AI trends and validate new methods within the ecosystem.
Bridge business needs and technical solutions with product owners and managers.
Guide long-term roadmaps for business capabilities and technical initiatives.
Ensure solutions comply with security guardrails for safe cloud adoption.
