Job summary

Coaction is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Architect to define the technical vision for AI-powered solutions across the enterprise. You will architect scalable, production‑grade AI platforms, empower engineering teams, and shape AI strategy at the executive level.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, security, governance, and collaboration with architecture, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to drive outcomes in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience, delivering production systems at scale.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior architect with reference architectures and standards adopted by multiple teams.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Java or similar; hands-on prototype and validation.
• Experience integrating with third‑party APIs and services; REST/JSON and security patterns.
• Proven experience designing LLM-based solutions and ML-enabled services.
• Knowledge of RAG architecture and vector databases is a plus.
• Experience with MLOps tools for versioning, tracking, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise AI reference architecture and patterns for LLM/ML integration.
• Architect secure integration with external AI services and guide engineering teams.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures for document workflows.
• Lead the rollout of an Agentic AI platform reference architecture.
• Define reusable AI components and platform building blocks for multiple use cases.
• Translate strategic needs into designs, requirements, and roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Establish AI engineering standards and CI/CD integration.
• Define monitoring, observability, and runbook standards for AI solutions.
• Lead AI governance, vendor/model intake, risk reviews, and change control.
• Mentor engineers and drive knowledge transfer in AI engineering.
