Job summary

Housecall Pro is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager, AI Software Factory, to set the product strategy and lead the execution for AI-enabled shared systems used by product and engineering teams. You will guide what to test and scale, and how to improve speed and reliability while ensuring security and accountability.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and other teams, defining meaningful measures and driving adoption of new tools across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with a track record of strategy and delivering complex tech/platform products across multiple teams
• Proven experience setting direction for a developer/internal platform and driving adoption
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑team work and make decisions without formal authority
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/agentic tools for engineers or internal users, incl. evaluating agent behavior and work quality
• Technical fluency across APIs, architecture, data, reliability, security, and tradeoffs, with ability to engage with senior engineers
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Software Factory, including what to test, scale, standardize, retire, or not build
• Understand needs across product and engineering teams, prioritize work with maximum leverage across Housecall Pro
• Work with Engineering to shape product/technical direction, resolve tradeoffs, align teams around clear decisions
• Define measures for software delivery speed, quality, reliability, cost, and adoption and connect to outcomes
• Drive adoption of new tools and ways of working across teams, using feedback to improve the platform
