Job summary

NextGen Coding Company in New York City is seeking a Senior AI / Software Engineer (Python, OCR, LLM & GPU Systems) to build a large-scale document intelligence platform. Role involves Python, OCR, data pipelines, LLMs, search/RAG, AWS, and NVIDIA GPU infrastructure across on-prem and cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate will own end-to-end features from ingestion to NLP-driven retrieval, integrate Claude, Qwen, OpenAI, Gemini, and open-source models, and deploy locally on NVIDIA H100/H200

Qualifications

• Strong backend and data-engineering fundamentals.
• Production experience with large datasets and PDFs.
• Experience deploying Open Source models on NVIDIA GPU infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, OpenSearch, etc.).
• Docker and Linux proficiency.
• REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build production Python services, APIs, and data-processing pipelines.
• Process large volumes of PDFs, images, and HTML data.
• Develop OCR, extraction, parsing, and classification workflows.
• Implement hybrid search, embeddings, and RAG with LLMs.
• Deploy and maintain AWS/cloud deployments.
• Write automated tests for OCR, extraction, and AI outputs.
