Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks an experienced AI software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale AI components supporting agentic, multi-agent orchestration and planning. You will integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise apps and APIs while ensuring security and lifecycle maintenance.

The role requires hands-on work with Python/Java/C++, LLM solutions, and orchestration frameworks, plus CI/CD and DevSecOps practices in a defense-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, ML, or related field.
• Strong background in AI/ML software design and development.
• Experience building/integrating LLM applications and agentic AI solutions.
• Hands-on with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise software.
• Familiarity with Git, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and Agile/DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI software components for enterprise AI framework.
• Build and integrate intelligent AI agents for multi-agent orchestration and task planning.
• Connect AI capabilities with existing enterprise apps, APIs, and mission systems.
• Maintain, optimize, and secure deployed AI frameworks; troubleshoot performance issues.
