Job summary

Hazel is hiring a hybrid-capability engineer in NYC to extend the action layer and build complete features across TypeScript/React and Go services. You will work on AI agent workflows, streaming responses, and multi-system integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, and Amazon.

You will ship production LLM features, own scalable APIs, and focus on UX, with founders and customers directly involved in shaping the product.

Qualifications

• Shipped production LLM feature to real users.
• Owned an API at scale: query optimization and schema design.
• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Experience using coding agents to automate workloads.
• Focus on product UX and ergonomics.

Responsibilities

• Extend Hazel's action layer and system integrations.
• Build full-stack features with TypeScript/React and Go services.
• Design and optimize AI agent workflows and approvals.
• Integrate with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Amazon, and more.
