Job summary

YipitData, a leading market research firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build AI-enabled analytics for major US retailers and brands. The role demands 7+ years architecting full-stack apps, 5+ years with Python, React, AWS, and modern data platforms, plus hands-on experience with LLM-powered products and agent experiences.

The position offers remote-friendly work from anywhere in the US (HQ in NYC) with emphasis on ownership, reliability, and customer impact.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on software development with a track record of shipping customer-facing apps.
Experience building production AI systems and optimizing AI agents for quality and cost.
Stack-flexible across TypeScript, Python, React, APIs, distributed systems and cloud infra.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.

Responsibilities

Own features and systems end-to-end for the Corporate Insight Agent.
Serve as a subject matter expert across the stack and mentor in AI-native development.
Collaborate with Corporate Product Management and stakeholders to shape requirements.
Define what gets built, why it matters, and how to execute effectively.
Balance rapid prototyping with long-term engineering rigor.
Iterate with users and maintain a strong engineering bar for quality, reliability, and observability.
Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and ship trustworthy solutions.
