Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking an experienced AI Developer with TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Springfield, VA. You will integrate data streams, migrate cloud platforms, and develop AI features for ontology-based software within an agile Scrum environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, a related degree, and strong skills in Python (noted as Pyton), Java, Scala, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development and security-focused applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, or 3 extra years of IT experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Hands-on with Docker/containerization, microservices, Helm, and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate multiple data streams into customer system.
• Complete Cloud platform migrations between platforms.
• Develop AI features for Ontology-based software applications.
• Create sustainable software with efficient branching and maintained repos.
• Work in an agile scrum team and participate in ceremonies.
• Implement backlog requirements and user stories.
• Utilize a modern DevSecOps approach in building software.
• Develop and modify applications, services, and IT systems.
