Job summary

The ideal candidate is a US citizen with an active Secret clearance (eligibility for Top Secret) and at least eight years of experience in Python, Docker, CI/CD, and backend APIs, working across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Extensive experience with Python, Docker, version control, and backend APIs.
• Extensive experience with DevOps and CI/CD using platforms such as GitLab.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions with varied stakeholders.
• Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable software and backend APIs using Python and Docker; integrate AI/ML capabilities.
• Support AI/ML programs with frameworks like LangChain and PyTorch; manage vector data with Milvus/Chroma.
• Design, build, and package software for deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent; ensure reliable releases.
• Maintain software quality and security with best practices and governance.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and system integrators across programs.
• Provide mentorship to junior to mid-level software developers.
• Explore emerging technologies to improve performance and scalability.
