Job summary

Trideum Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer (Back-End) to join our Huntsville, AL team. This full-time role focuses on building secure, scalable back-end services for a high-visibility DoD program, with on-site work at Redstone Arsenal five days a week.

You will design, implement, and integrate back-end components, APIs, and data flows in a modular MOSA framework, collaborating with senior engineers to meet mission objectives in a secure, tightly governed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with MOSA principles or modular/component-based architectures (experience a plus).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, including secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience building back-end services or system components in Java, .NET, C#, C++, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices concepts, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Awareness of software security principles and automated testing practices.
• Effective problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• US citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable back-end software components using MOSA-aligned principles.
• Design and implement secure back-end services, data processing flows, and APIs.
• Integrate with other system components and services within a distributed architecture.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and fellow developers to align with requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, design discussions, and CI efforts.
• Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Follow best practices for secure coding, documentation, and maintainability.
• Travel as needed for collaboration or system integration events.
