You will design, implement, and deploy scalable software and AI-enabled programs supporting national security initiatives, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and system integrators.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, software architecture, DevSecOps practices, and secure, reusable solutions using Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and ML frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software deployment infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with Python, Docker, version control, and backend APIs.
• Extensive experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitLab.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Active Secret security clearance, with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, code, and maintain scalable apps and backend APIs using Python and Docker.
• Develop ML components with LangChain, PyTorch; manage vector stores with Milvus/Chroma.
• Package deployments with Docker and Kubernetes for multi-env use.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for reliable releases.
• Maintain code quality, security, and documentation per cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and system integrators across programs.
• Mentor junior to mid-level developers; stay current with emerging tech.
