Job summary

TrendAI, the cybersecurity-focused unit of Trend Micro, seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer passionate about cybersecurity and AI-powered platforms. You will engage customers directly, lead impactful demos, and guide opportunities from evaluation to expansion, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes technical storytelling, executive-facing presentations, and ongoing enablement. Travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, AI, cloud, networking, or related technical fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales roles.
• Proven experience working with technical decision-makers and executives in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Broad technical acumen across cybersecurity, cloud architecture, networking, AI, risk visibility, and IT modernization.
• Experience designing/architecting solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to C-level executives.
• Proven experience and passion for public speaking, live demos, and customer education.
• Preferred Certifications CISSP, CEH, CCSP, Security+, CySA+, CISM, CISA, or other ISACA certifications.
• AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
• Kubernetes, DevOps, or Cloud Security specialization certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers and prospects, guiding them through evaluation, adoption, and expansion of our cybersecurity platform.
• Understand customer goals, challenges, and security requirements to align platform capabilities with outcomes.
• Lead demos, presentations, and technical storytelling for technical and executive audiences.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic partners to accelerate revenue and broaden market reach.
• Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events, panels, and webinars.
• Develop enablement content: demos, videos, architecture diagrams, training assets for internal teams and partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure aligned execution and exceptional customer experience.
• Provide product feedback and insights based on customer needs and market trends.
• Lead and support POCs to demonstrate measurable value and outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of platform capabilities, beta features, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Travel within the U.S. for customer engagements, events, and partner meetings.
