Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an AI Security Platform Engineer to lead the engineering and operational enablement of AI-powered security operations platforms. The role connects security operations, security engineering, and AI engineering to deliver secure, explainable, and production-ready solutions.

You will integrate AI security platforms with Microsoft Sentinel, SOAR, threat intel, and cloud security services. The Senior Security Engineer will design evidence pipelines, agent orchestration

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience across multiple domains.
• 2+ years building or implementing AI/AI platforms.
• Experience with security automation, SOAR, and enterprise platform engineering.
• Strong Python, API development, and security workflow automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and production security operations.
• Hands-on cloud experience (Azure/AWS) and IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Knowledge of AI governance, observability, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and support of AI-powered security operations and autonomous investigations.
• Design security automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, cloud services, and IaC.
• Build and maintain RAG architectures, agent orchestration, and AI workflow integrations.
• Establish secure engineering standards and reusable patterns for AI-enabled platforms.
• Integrate across Microsoft Sentinel, SOAR, threat intel, endpoint, identity, and cloud security.
• Implement AI observability, auditing, and explainability to improve governance.
• Identify AI model and data-flow risks; develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Security Ops, Architecture, Risk, Data and Tech teams to reduce MTTR.
