Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced software security engineer to join the Product Security Office. You will triage security incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and coordinate with engineering teams, researchers, and partners, with a growing focus on AI infrastructure.

You will work in a matrixed environment, communicating risks to engineers and executives, and drive remediation while advancing AI-enabled tooling for faster triage and response.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform or device security.
• Strong knowledge of CPU/GPU security concepts.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and at least one of Rust or Python.
• Familiarity with security architecture and threat modeling.
• Experience with Linux kernel/drivers and virtualization.
• Understanding of AI/ML security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and triage security vulnerabilities; define remediation strategies.
• Support Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD) activities.
• Drive continual improvement of security posture and vulnerability management.
• Develop and implement threat intelligence programs.
• Explore AI-assisted tooling to accelerate vulnerability triage and response.
