Job summary

Gravity IT Resources seeks a Senior AI Defense Engineer to lead security for AI systems within a global law firm environment. You will set technical direction, mentor teams, and translate AI threats into practical defenses and enforceable controls.

You will drive threat modeling, implement guardrails, and coordinate with engineering and security leadership to deliver secure AI capabilities and an auditable security program.

Qualifications

• ML/ML pipelines: data collection, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
• Enterprise AI services governance: data handling, routing, isolation controls.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and modern infra (containers, Kubernetes, secrets, CI/CD).
• Azure OpenAI governance: Azure OpenAI, Model Catalog, Entra ID, Azure-native AI controls.
• Familiarity with AI attack patterns and defenses.
• Strong security fundamentals: auth, authz, network, data protection, logging.
• Neural network frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex) or agentic platforms.
• Security reviews for APIs, microservices, or data platforms.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, privacy regulations.
• Translate risks into concrete technical changes; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Threat modeling for AI/ML systems and documenting AI-specific threats.
• Evaluate and operationalize security controls, guardrails, and enforcement mechanisms for AI services.
• Identify and use adversarial test suites; simulate attacker behavior targeting AI endpoints.
• Ensure AI capabilities are integrated into existing security stacks (SIEM, SOAR, EDR).
• Lead security incidents involving AI services; improve playbooks and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security leadership.
• Own the AI security roadmap and design reviews; set secure AI standards.
• Contribute to the Firm’s Service Matters initiative with professional communication.
