Job summary

Jasper, Inc. seeks a Senior Security Engineer to lead security design for its AI infrastructure and internal workflows. You will own threat modeling for AI-specific risks and build tooling to enable AI capabilities without slowing engineering teams.

The role is fully remote across the US, reporting to the Director of Security, with a focus on automating evidence collection, GRC alignment, and secure-by-default patterns across AWS/GCP environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering with hands-on AI/ML security, cloud security, and/or GRC engineering.
• Practical experience securing AI systems including LLM apps, agents, or ML pipelines.
• Deep understanding of security principles and vulnerabilities.
• Experience building security programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead security design, implementation, and controls for Jasper’s AI infrastructure and internal workflows.
• Own threat modeling for AI-specific risks and design controls for AI outputs with data protection.
• Build security tooling and automated checks to enable AI capabilities without slowing down teams.
• Collaborate and influence the direction of Jasper's Security program.
• Automate evidence collection, controls monitoring, and compliance workflows with GRC tools.
