Job summary

OneStream Software seeks a Senior AI Security Engineer to own the day-to-day security of our internal AI environment. You will define security reviews, implement the AIDR capability, and guide AI tooling selections across enterprise contexts.

In this senior, high-autonomy role, you'll mentor the AI Security team, collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance, and shape governance and incident response as AI adoption accelerates across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, security operations, application security, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience securing or building with LLM-based systems.
• Proven track record of owning a security program end to end, with technical direction.
• Knowledge of AI-specific threats and frameworks (OWASP Top 10 for LLM, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF).
• Experience with SaaS security posture, IAM, and least-privilege configurations.
• Experience with detection engineering, SIEM, and monitoring for new data sources.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python or similar) and working with APIs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical owner for day-to-day security of OneStream's internal AI environment.
• Define and own security review standards for enterprise AI configurations and data controls.
• Architect and own the AI Detection and Response capability end to end, including alerting and response integration.
• Lead security reviews of new and third-party AI tooling against company policies.
• Act as AI automation champion to improve security operations and workflows.
• Lead threat modeling of internal AI use cases against AI-specific attack classes.
• Define and own the metrics program for internal AI security.
