Job summary

OneStream is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to own the security of our internal AI environment and related workflows. You will co‑develop the AI security roadmap, implement AIDR, and lead security reviews of new AI tooling while partnering with IT, Legal, and Compliance to enable secure AI adoption.

You will mentor the AI Security team, drive metrics, and ensure secure-by-default patterns across enterprise AI platforms and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years hands‑on experience securing/building with LLM-based systems (enterprise AI assistants, agents, tool-calling, connectors).
• Owns security program end‑to‑end including technical direction and risk decisions.
• Familiar with AI threats and frameworks (OWASP Top 10 for LLM apps, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF).
• Experience reviewing SaaS security posture and least-privilege configurations.
• Experience with third‑party/vendor risk assessments and remediation.
• Experience with detection engineering, SIEM, and monitoring.
• Scripting and API integration proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical owner for day‑to‑day security of internal AI environment and workflows.
• Define and own security review standards for enterprise AI configurations and data controls.
• Architect, implement, and own AI Detection and Response (AIDR) end‑to‑end across the enterprise.
• Lead security reviews of new/third‑party AI tooling and MCP servers against security policies.
• Drive AI automation in security operations and threat detection workflows.
• Lead threat modeling of internal AI use cases against AI-specific attack classes.
• Define, implement, and own metrics for internal AI security and report progress to leadership.
• Operationalize AI governance with IT, Legal, Privacy, and business teams.
