Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Senior Enterprise AI Security Engineer to lead the safe expansion of AI across the enterprise. You will discover and inventory AI usage, identify shadow AI tools, and architect automated guardrails that enable business acceleration while mitigating risk.

You will work with Enterprise Security to design remediation workflows, enforce AI security policies, and collaborate with cloud, data protection and infrastructure teams to harden AI hosting environments and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise security engineering, application security, cloud security, or security architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML security risks and guardrails implementation across AI assistants and tools.
• Experience building automated detection and remediation workflows and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, inventory and visibility of AI usage across the enterprise, including third‑party tools and shadow AI integrations.
• Design and deploy automated remediation workflows and policy enforcement engines to mitigate AI risks.
• Develop threat mitigation controls against AI vulnerabilities (prompt injection, data poisoning, model evasion).
• Collaborate with Data Protection to design context‑aware DLP controls for AI pipelines.
• Conduct assessments for AI applications, agents and third‑party AI products.
• Research and implement emerging AI security frameworks and tooling (OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF).
• Partner with cloud, infrastructure and app security teams to harden model hosting environments and API gateways.
