Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to design, develop, and operationalize secure AI capabilities within risk and security operations. You will build AI-powered agents to augment detection, investigation, and response workflows while ensuring responsible AI usage and governance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft security ecosystems, governance of AI platforms, and a focus on data protection across M365 and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or security engineering.
• Proven experience designing and securing enterprise AI platforms, including: Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft security and compliance ecosystems, including: Purview, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID.
• Proven expertise in Data Security and Protection, including DLP, classification, and insider risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and lead enterprise security solutions and roadmaps.
• Strong development and automation capabilities in Python, PowerShell, TypeScript; secure API integration; AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and secure AI-powered security agents to augment detection, investigation, and response workflows.
• Identify high-value AI use cases to accelerate analyst productivity and improve outcomes.
• Continuously validate agent performance, accuracy, and reliability in real-world operations.
• Enforce strong security controls for enterprise AI platforms and govern AI risk management.
• Implement data protection controls across M365 and AI platforms and monitor data leakage risks.
• Define and enforce access controls and auditability for AI-driven workflows under Zero Trust.
