Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Security Engineer focused on AI/ML platforms in Charlotte, NC. You will design and deploy security controls for Generative AI systems, implement guardrails, and support secure onboarding for internal teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure/AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitLab. You will lead threat modeling, incident response, and remediation across production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or work experience.
• At least 3 years in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS and IaC tooling.

• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Experience securing AI/ML or Generative AI systems in production environments
• Familiarity with AI‑specific security controls
