Job summary

EY is seeking a security leader to embed robust AI security throughout the lifecycle. This role partners with product and engineering teams to prove controls under adversarial conditions, replacing one-off reviews with reusable patterns and measurable coverage.

You will design practical patterns for identity, access, and recovery, and embed security across data and delivery workstreams. You will guide risk-conscious decisions, run red-team exercises, and build reusable controls that scale across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Substantial experience in product, application, cloud, platform, or detection security, with hands-on ownership of production controls.
• Threat modeling: assess complex systems and turn attack paths into practical engineering measures.
• Production security across modern apps, cloud, identities, data, networks, and pipelines.
• AI systems knowledge: generative and agentic AI including retrieval, model access, tool use, evaluation, and runtime behavior.
• Hands-on automation: building or extending security tests, controls, telemetry, or reference implementations.
• Response experience: support vulnerability or incident response and translate lessons into stronger controls.
• Cross-functional delivery: partner with engineers and risk functions to improve security while preserving value and delivery constraints.
• Travel up to 50% travel and hybrid office requirement.

Responsibilities

• Set the security direction. Own reusable AI security patterns, control objectives, reference architectures, and threat models.
• Join builders early. Identify credible attack paths and shape controls for the product and delivery model.
• Design scoped authority. Create patterns for identity, access, isolation, approvals, and recovery.
• Protect sensitive information. Embed security across the data lifecycle; preserve confidentiality and provenance.
• Secure the delivery path. Integrate automated security tests, policy gates, trusted artifacts, and traceable changes.
• Test adversarially. Run red-team exercises against AI use cases and derive repeatable tests.
• Build runtime protection. Use evidence and signals to detect abnormal actions and privilege misuse.
• Strengthen response. Support vulnerability triage and incidents with evidence and recovery actions.
• Advise on residual risk. Provide concise technical recommendations to product and risk leaders.
• Build shared capability. Create reference implementations and coach engineers to reusable controls.
