This builder role partners with product and engineering teams to embed defenses throughout the lifecycle, turning insights from red-team exercises into practical controls, patterns, and evidence that scale across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product, application, cloud, platform, or detection security with hands‑on ownership of production controls.
• Threat modeling: ability to assess complex systems and turn attack paths into practical measures.
• Production security: securing modern applications, cloud environments, identities, data, and delivery pipelines.
• AI systems knowledge: working understanding of generative and agentic AI, including retrieval, model access, and runtime behavior.
• Hands‑on automation: building or extending security tests, telemetry, and reference implementations.

Responsibilities

• Set the security direction with reusable AI security patterns and threat models.
• Join builders early to identify attack paths and shape appropriate controls.
• Design patterns for identity, access, isolation, approvals, and recovery.
• Embed security across the data lifecycle and enforce proper access.
• Integrate automated security tests, policy gates, and trusted artifacts into pipelines.
• Conduct adversarial testing and convert results into repeatable tests and guidance.
• Build runtime protection with evidence and behavioral signals to detect abuses.
• Support vulnerability triage and incidents with evidence and recovery actions.
• Advise on residual risk with concise technical recommendations.
• Create reference implementations and coach engineers to reuse controls.
