Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior AI Security Engineer to secure enterprise microservices APIs across web and mobile environments using AI-driven detection, investigation, and governance.

You will partner with engineering and business stakeholders to harden APIs, improve observability, and resolve security events. The role requires strong collaboration and hands-on security automation within an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience securing APIs, web apps, and service-to-service communications.
• Experience with microservices architectures, REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement security controls for web applications, APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled services.
• Design and implement observability for microservice REST and GraphQL APIs and end-to-end workflows.
• Leverage AI and automation to analyze telemetry, logs, security events, and traffic data to detect issues.
• Investigate and triage security and reliability events tied to configuration, agents, or integrations.
• Coordinate with application teams, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve client-impacting issues.
• Develop runbooks and troubleshooting procedures for recurring endpoint and API issues.
