EY seeks a senior security engineer for its Challenger program to embed security throughout AI lifecycles and defend against adversarial actions. You will prove controls, replace single-use reviews with reusable patterns, and drive measurable security coverage with evidence-driven practices.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, design scalable security controls, and guide risk-informed decisions while supporting hybrid work and up to 50% travel across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security for product, application, cloud, or platform environments.
• Hands-on ownership of production security controls across complex systems.
• Strong threat modelling abilities and practical engineering outcomes.
• Experience producing measurable, auditable security evidence.
• Ability to communicate risk clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Set the security direction with reusable AI security patterns and threat models aligned to each use case.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams early to shape controls before design is finalized.
• Design practical patterns for identity, access, isolation, approvals and recovery.
• Embed security across the data lifecycle, preserving confidentiality, integrity and provenance.
• Integrate automated security tests, policy gates, and secure artefacts into pipelines.
• Run red-team exercises against AI use cases and derive repeatable tests and patterns.
• Develop runtime protection using evidence and behavioral signals to detect abuse.
• Support vulnerability triage and incident response with clear containment options.
• Offer concise technical risk recommendations to product and leadership.
• Build reusable security capabilities and coach engineers for adoption.
