Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Applied Scientist to advance ML/statistical models powering Alexa availability at massive scale. You will tackle time series, anomaly detection, LLM-based operational intelligence, and adaptive thresholds, shaping solutions used by hundreds of millions globally.

You will design production-grade ML, establish rigorous evaluations, mentor scientists, and partner with engineers, PMs, and operations to translate research into reliable, scalable systems that keep Alexa available

Qualifications

• 3+ years building ML models for business applications
• PhD or Master plus 6+ years applied research
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python or related languages
• Experience with neural deep learning methods
