Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Applied Scientist to join the Alexa Availability team. You will drive ML and statistical models to power Alexa's reliability at scale, tackling anomaly detection, time-series modeling, and LLM-based operational intelligence.

You will design production-grade ML solutions, establish evaluation frameworks, and mentor other scientists while collaborating with engineers, product managers, and operations leaders to impact Alexa's availability worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building ML models for business applications.
• PhD or a Master's plus 6+ years applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of ML/statistical models powering Alexa reliability at scale.
• Design production-grade ML solutions and rigorous evaluation frameworks.
