Job summary

Pearson is seeking an AI lead to design, develop, deploy, and operate production AI capabilities that power learner intelligence, personalization, recommendations, and knowledge graphs. You will build scalable AI services and workflows, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, Learning Science, and Data Science teams to deliver impactful AI-powered experiences.

Qualifications

5+ years building and deploying production AI/ML systems with cloud-native apps.
Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and knowledge graphs.
Hands-on experience deploying AI apps using foundation models and modern AI frameworks.
Proficiency in Python, APIs, testing, CI/CD, and production ops.
Experience designing scalable AI platforms on AWS or similar clouds.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of production AI capabilities across Pearson products.
Design and deliver Generative AI and LLM solutions that drive measurable product impact.
Build reusable AI platform components and workflows to accelerate AI adoption.
Own end-to-end AI lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
Establish scalable MLOps and AIOps practices for governance and reliability.
