Moody's Corporation is seeking a senior AI/ML leader to design and deploy innovative AI solutions across Corporate and Governments verticals. You will own end-to-end DS initiatives, partner with product and engineering, and ensure production-ready, compliant models that drive client value.

The role emphasizes responsible AI governance, clear communication with executives, and a track record of turning AI insights into actionable product capabilities. US-based with strong salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in data science, ML, or applied AI, incl. collaboration with data scientists and engineers.
• Hands-on in building, training, evaluating ML/DL models including transformers.
• Strong Python programming with production deployment experience.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools across the lifecycle.
• Expertise with large language models: prompting, fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation.
• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks/libraries (LangChain, CrewAI, etc.).
• Own full model-development lifecycle from framing to monitoring.
• Ability to explain complex modeling to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of AI/ML/generative AI solutions for clients and products.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate needs into DS initiatives.
• Own model selection, experimentation, validation, and production readiness.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve performance using ML/DL methods.
• Promote best practices in coding, ML ops, and software engineering.
• Drive responsible AI practices including governance and risk management.
• Convey technical insights clearly to a broad audience.
