Job summary

HID Global Corporation is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to lead the development and deployment of advanced biometric AI models. You will research and optimize AI pipelines for biometric recognition, PAD, and presentation attack detection across edge devices and cloud environments.

The role demands deep learning, computer vision, and lifecycle management expertise, with collaboration across compliance and academic partners to publish findings and drive innovation in identity technologies.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant technical field (AI, ML, CV, etc.).
• 4+ years in developing and deploying AI models to production.
• Strong Python and ML framework skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize AI/deep learning models for biometric applications.
• Build image processing, video analytics, and biometric feature pipelines.
• Lead model lifecycle management from research to deployment, edge/cloud deployment.
• Advance MLOps, model monitoring, retraining, and fairness/privacy controls.
• Collaborate with compliance and product teams on regulatory alignment.
• Publish technical findings, patents, and thought leadership where appropriate.
