Job summary

AbbVie is building an AI-native PDST team to accelerate late-stage biologics development, including process characterization, tech transfer to manufacturing, and lifecycle optimization. You will architect data solutions, deploy predictive models, and craft analytical foundations enabling faster, safer, and more cost-effective decisions across development to commercial stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years IT and application development or equivalent.
• Hands-on data science or ML in scientific/engineering environments.
• Expert-level Python; strong knowledge of NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with GxP, FDA/EMA expectations for process validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy predictive models for process robustness and lifecycle optimization.
• Develop multivariate and time-series models to identify interactions and predict drift.
• Apply advanced ML methods to characterize bioprocess behavior and define design spaces.
• Lead data infrastructure for technology transfer and cross-site analytics.
