Job summary

Fidelity's AI Center of Excellence within Enterprise Technology Risk and Analytics seeks a seasoned professional to advance the AI Risk Management Program. You will collaborate across risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and audit to identify and mitigate risks from Generative AI, ML, and third-party AI solutions.

Reporting to the Director of AI Technology Risk, you will help define governance standards, conduct AI risk assessments, and support responsible AI practices across the enterprise,

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in AI, information technology risk, cyber security, controls or audit roles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or a related field of study preferred.
• Demonstrated technical abilities in multiple areas (e.g., AI, Data Science, technology infrastructure and application controls, cyber security, access management, cloud, resiliency, etc.)
• Experience performing detailed technology risk assessments, control assessments or IT audits
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and operational risk principles as they relate to AI solutions.
• Ability to analyze AI architectures, data flows, model development processes, and technical control environments.
• Ability to communicate complex AI risks and technical concepts to executives, business partners, engineering teams, and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of AI risks across Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and third-party AI ecosystems.
• Execute AI risk assessments and control evaluations to ensure AI solutions are secure, compliant, responsible, and aligned with enterprise risk appetite.
• Assess AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle controls, and responsible AI practices to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with business, technology, compliance, cybersecurity, and audit teams to enable the safe and scalable adoption of AI across the enterprise.
• Establish and monitor AI risk metrics, KRIs, and reporting to support executive decision-making and risk transparency.
• Advise stakeholders on industry-leading AI governance frameworks, regulatory expectations, and emerging AI risks.
• Support AI assurance activities, including control testing, issue management, audit engagement, and regulatory examinations.
• Drive continuous enhancement of the organization's AI governance, control environment, and responsible AI program.
