Dataminr is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to work with Research Scientists and Data Scientists to train, adapt, and deploy state-of-the-art LLMs across predictive, generative, and agentic AI. The role involves handling multimodal data (text, images, video, audio, sensor data) on a platform processing billions of inputs daily.

This is a hybrid role with two in-office days weekly in New York City or Arlington, VA.

Formación

• M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Research or Machine Learning Engineer.
• MLOps/LLMOps experience: building, optimizing, deploying and operating DL models with PyTorch/Transformers/LLMs.
• Experience reading and implementing state-of-the-art NLP/Computer Vision methods.
• Expertise in Python and modern ML tooling (Containers, Kubernetes, AWS, Databricks).

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical design and implementation of robust API services and containers for LLMOps lifecycle.
• Optimize DL/LLM training and inference performance on specialized hardware.
• Drive the full lifecycle from research to productization of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Research Scientists and Data Scientists to deploy models in production at scale.
• Evaluate and integrate novel in-house methods into production systems.
