Job summary

Humana Inc. in the United States is hiring a Principal Software Engineer, Intelligent Quality Solutions to lead hands-on engineering and build an AI-native quality engineering ecosystem that spans platforms, automation, and agentic AI.

You will engineer AI-powered applications, reusable frameworks, and autonomous agents while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive governance, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years designing and building enterprise software solutions.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered software in production.
• Experience with large language models and AI orchestration.
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and secure software development.
• Experience building scalable enterprise platforms and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept to production.
