Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Intelligent Quality Solutions to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered quality engineering capabilities across the enterprise. This hands-on role emphasizes production-grade software, reusable frameworks, and autonomous AI agents to transform testing and software quality.

You will drive architecture, mentor teams, and partner with security, data, and product groups to implement scalable enterprise AI solutions and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience designing and building enterprise software applications, services, or platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting AI-powered software applications in production.
• Experience with large language models, generative AI, agentic AI, ML, or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Strong software engineering across cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, secure development.
• Experience building scalable enterprise platforms or reusable enterprise capabilities.
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise products, platforms, or workflows.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered software solutions for Enterprise Quality Engineering.
• Create intelligent applications, AI services, APIs, and reusable frameworks.
