Humana Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Intelligent Quality Solutions to lead AI-powered enterprise quality capabilities. This hands-on role builds scalable production software and guides architecture across teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI integration, and shape long-term strategy while collaborating with security, data, product, and operations to deliver reliable quality engineering at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years designing and building enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered software in production.
• Experience with large language models, generative AI, agentic AI, ML, or orchestration frameworks.
• Strong cloud-native, APIs, distributed systems, and secure software development expertise.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered software solutions for Enterprise Quality Engineering.
• Build intelligent applications, AI services, APIs, and reusable frameworks.
• Create AI agents that improve software testing, quality, and productivity.
• Deliver scalable, secure, production-ready enterprise software.

• Evaluate new AI technologies and prototype solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance across projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Define best practices for AI development, governance and observability.
• Help shape long-term AI and quality strategy.
