Job summary

Protingent Staffing has a contract Senior Project Manager role based in Santa Clara, CA. You will oversee the AI portfolio rollout, coordinating with engineering, the PMO, product managers, and business stakeholders to keep the project on track.

Responsible for major program timelines, governance, and readiness reporting, you will drive continuous improvement of the operating model across the AI portfolio and ensure clear, consistent communications with leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in a technical/engineering context.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Proactive organization for scheduling and coordination.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
• Reliable with administrative tasks and processes.
• Ability to handle multiple inputs and follow through.
• Interest in Agile/PLP project management methods.
• AI-savvy mindset with openness to AI productivity tools.
• 4-year degree or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage major program delivery timelines and phased deployment.
• Facilitate clear stakeholder alignment across executives, engineering, PMO, and product teams.
• Track and report program readiness scores for predictable outcomes.
• Drive operating model improvements based on feedback and signals.
• Oversee governance: milestones, risks, issues, and resources for the AI portfolio.
• Standardize reporting cadences for status updates and executive summaries.
