Job summary

Ladders is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI-Enabled Production Tools. This remote US-based role focuses on building AI-enabled production tools and content pipelines.

You will own end-to-end tools and pipelines, ensure reliability, and partner with artists and engineers to deliver scalable automation. Responsibilities include leading projects, designing architectures, and creating robust workflows for content generation, validation, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering focused on production tools or content pipelines.
• 2+ years of technical leadership, including mentoring and project management.
• Strong Python skills with API design and software architecture experience.
• Experience in integrating DCC applications and supporting content workflows.
• Experience building multi-step AI workflows with state management and failure handling.
• Proficient in version control, code review, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Own tools and pipeline systems from discovery to production support.
• Build agentic workflows that manage models, tools, and services with state tracking and recovery.
• Develop AI-enabled engineering tools for coding, testing, and workflow automation.
• Create DCC integrations and applications tailored for artists and technical artists.
• Maintain content pipelines for authoring, validation, and asset management.
• Design software architecture and APIs for performance and integration.
• Establish automated testing and monitoring for reliable operations.
