PeopleFirst Resources is seeking a highly specialized AI Product Owner in Reston, VA (Hybrid). This contract position leads the evolution of our client product suite with a focus on embedding AI capabilities into healthcare insurance products.

You will bridge strategic business needs with technical teams, collaborating across multiple scrum teams to identify AI use cases and translate them into concrete requirements and specifications for GenAI and Agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of total product ownership or technical product delivery experience.
• Hands-on AI experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI infrastructure, vector databases, and model integrations.
• Experience in complex Agile/Scrum environments with multiple engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Use Case Identification: evaluate product portfolios to identify AI-enabled value gaps.
• Requirement Engineering: translate ML capabilities into clear user requirements and specs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work across multiple scrum teams to maintain unified AI strategy.
• Architectural Alignment: understand AI architecture and data infra to assist enhancements.
• Dual Ecosystem Delivery: enhance legacy platforms while building new AI-native products.
• Value Proposition Definition: articulate the business value and transformations of AI solutions.
