Job summary

System One in Reston, VA is seeking a Senior Product Owner specializing in Gen AI and Agentic AI to lead strategy, requirements, and agile delivery.

You will partner with stakeholders and data teams to define use cases, create roadmaps, and guide teams through concept to production, balancing business value and technical feasibility. This contract-to-hire role offers hybrid work, a 40-hour week, and exposure to enterprise AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 7-8+ years as a Product Owner.
• Combination of Product Owner/PM/BA/DA with significant PO leadership experience.
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases, products, or initiatives.
• Experience identifying business opportunities for AI adoption and translating them into product requirements.
• Experience creating and managing product roadmaps, backlogs, epics, features, user stories.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, architects, data teams, and developers.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Ability to understand technical architectures and work effectively in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Creative and innovative mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• Candidates with a combination of Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, and/or Data Analyst experience will be considered, provided they have significant Product Owner experience leading strategy, requirements, roadmaps, and Agile delivery.
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases, products, or initiatives.
• Experience identifying business opportunities for AI adoption and translating them into product requirements.
• Experience creating and managing product roadmaps, backlogs, epics, features, and user stories.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, data teams, and developers.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Ability to understand technical architectures and work effectively in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other Agile/Product certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise AI initiatives.
• Experience working with Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI delivery teams.
