Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Product Owner to own NYL360 AI Assistant and Voice Avatar capabilities, partnering with Google and Obin to prototype and scale AI features. You will bridge POs with design and engineering, upskill peers, and drive a cohesive NYL360 roadmap across pods.

This hybrid NYC-based role focuses on transforming advisor experiences through conversational AI and voice interfaces, shaping strategy, and delivering high-impact capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience modernizing complex workflows.
• Interest or experience in conversational AI, voice interfaces, or intelligent assistants.
• Comfort with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT).
• Strong user research instincts and turning field insights into product strategy.
• Product Owner/Manager experience in digital transformation—financial services a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Assistant & Voice Avatar: set the vision and roadmap, translate advisor pain points into conversational use cases.
• Drive AI prototyping and innovation: triage and prototype new AI concepts with partners, identify what's ready to scale.
• Support NYL360 POs across pods: align priorities, upskill peers on AI tools, ensure cross-pod cohesion.
• Lead Roadmap & Backlog: convert field research into prioritized roadmap and well-defined backlog.
• Drive Delivery & Vendor Integration: end-to-end feature delivery with engineering, UX, and vendors.
