Qualifications

Working knowledge of modern AI technologies, including foundation models, AI platforms, agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, and related tooling.
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into actionable recommendations.

Job description

Identify emerging AI capabilities, technology trends, and market developments influencing the bank's long-term AI strategy
Develop and maintain a forward-looking view of AI technologies, vendors, and industry solutions beyond current delivery priorities
Partner with AI Strategy and AI Platform Product Management to align future opportunities with the bank's AI vision and platform direction
Evaluate external capabilities that may accelerate or complement internal investments
Monitor the AI ecosystem, including startups, technology providers, academic research, and emerging market trends
Conduct strategic evaluations of vendors and platforms, assessing applicability, maturity, risks, and alignment with future business needs
Build comparative assessments and recommendation frameworks for executive decision-making
Advise leadership on emerging technologies and competitive developments
Conduct lightweight discovery efforts, proofs of concept, and exploratory prototyping
Utilize modern AI tools and platforms to assess capabilities and technical feasibility
Distill complex technical concepts into business implications and strategic choices
Synthesize market intelligence, technology assessments, and experimentation results into recommendations for senior leaders
Highlight strategic tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and considerations for future investments
Influence roadmap discussions through evidence-based insights
Help leadership navigate significant technology decisions in a rapidly evolving AI landscape

Requirements

Digital Product Management experience
Demonstrated ability to think beyond immediate delivery horizons and anticipate future technology needs
Strong understanding of AI market dynamics, emerging technologies, and industry trends
Experience developing product strategy, technology evaluations, or innovation roadmaps
Working knowledge of modern AI technologies, including foundation models, AI platforms, agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, and related tooling
Ability to build simple prototypes, perform hands-on experimentation, and evaluate technical capabilities
Comfortable engaging with technical teams, architects, and platform leaders, even without direct engineering ownership
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Ability to assess emerging technologies with incomplete information and evolving market signals
Experience evaluating vendors, technology partnerships, and buy-versus-build decisions
Proven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where exploration often precedes clear requirements
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into actionable recommendations
Track record of influencing decisions across functions without direct authority
